 CWF and Biodiversity

2010Biodiversity

The United Nations is calling on the world to take action to protect biodiversity.

“Biodiversity is Life,” the award winning international campaign explains. “Biodiversity is Our Life.”

With nearly a third of all species in the world at some level of risk, the call to action is critical. In Canada, the numbers are also alarming: 585 species are at some level of risk.

As one of the oldest and largest conservation organizations in Canada, CWF is continually working to protect biodiversity. In 2010, we are stepping up the campaign with many new initiatives.
