How is the Canadian Wildlife Federation involved?

Climate change, endangered species and water conservation are the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s top priority issues. By spreading knowledge of human impacts on the environment, developing and delivering educational programs, sponsoring research, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources, recommending policy changes and co-operating with like-minded partners, CWF encourages a future in which Canadians can live in harmony with nature.

The Canadian Wildlife Federation participated in a historic enviro-summit this June in Washington to share its views on critical issues of climate change, the arctic, dirty fuels, water and wildlife.

The Canadian environmental CEOs met with more than 30 of their environmental counterparts in the U.S. and with senior officials from the U.S. government in D.C. to share their views on Canada's challenges and opportunities and to learn more about where the U.S. is heading with environmental and energy policy.
