The WILD Education program was developed as an extension of the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s everlasting role and belief in both conservation and education. With a desire to reach out to more Canadians, WILD Education serves as an early effort to instill the Canadian values to preserve our heritage, our space and our species to the youth of today. With a dedicated effort to raise awareness of the impacts of human activities on the environment, WILD Education helps promote the sustainable use of our natural resources to Canadians. What better way than to bring it into our classrooms?
Who can be WILD?
Over a hundred thousand Canadian educators, that’s who! Teachers, parents, and students all praise this popular conservation education program. Project WILD teachers have instructed millions of Canadian students, from kindergarten through high school. The program is now in its 15th successful year and continually developing new resources and stimulating curriculum for everyone! We take special pride in our ever-growing family of WILD Education programs, which have been developed in partnership with federal, provincial, and territorial wildlife agencies.
Discover how, you too, can give young Canadians access to knowledge critical to the healthy future of our natural world through WILD Education programs today!
