2008 — Pollinators: From flowers to food to our future
Listen carefully. It can happen under the cover of night or in broad daylight. It can happen in the deep, dark forest or wide, open fields. It is one of the most important biological processes on our planet, yet it remains a mystery to many. Now it’s time to expose one of the great secrets in the private lives of plants ... pollination!
Join the Canadian Wildlife Federation and its partners during National Wildlife Week, April 6 to 12, 2008, to pay homage to the age-old process of pollination, and to the pollinators — the host of insects, birds and other wildlife species — that make it happen.
