Rules & Regulations
Here are the rules for the Focus on Nature photo contest:
1. You have to take the photograph yourself.
2. You must be between the five and thirteen years old.
3. The photograph must be taken in Canada.
4. Photos must be a digital photograph at least 3 megabytes in size.
5. Photo 'retouching' is not permitted.
You must submit digital photographs at least three megabytes (megs) in size — no printed photos. We’ll publish the winning entries later this year.
You can enter once in each of these categories:
- a wild Canadian animal (This includes birds, bugs, fish, mammals, reptiles and amphibians)
- a wild Canadian plant (Not one growing in a garden!)
- a wild Canadian habitat for animals (Anywhere a Canadian critter might live is fine. You don’t have to show a den or nest or animal, just a natural area where you might find them.)
The deadline is the end of the day on Wednesday, September 17, 2010.
