The Navigable Water Act, supported by the CWF is crucial and critical of mankind's SURVIVAL. We have now surpassed the infamous threshold critical line of comeback to our origins, people of water, we are. Let's put pressure on all bodies that are a threat to this act and it's contents. We must preserve our memories of the rivers, fauna, ecological benefits and most importantly our grand children, for them to be able to enjoy the beauty, we had once whithout the migratory pollutants.

It is important to improve protection for wild life rather than run the risk of irrevocably harming wild animals and the environment.

2 memories from my early education: the first one was an ecology course in which the assignment was to measure out a square foot of a field and identify and count the plants within the square; the second lesson during employment for the Canadian government when a field expert (my boss) pointed to boat motor oil floating on the surface of the lake and said,"One drop of that destroys a whole ecosystem."

Climate change leaves a previously non-navigatable area of our country, indeed, our planet, exposed to the indiscriminate abuse of business moguls.

We are having a battle with a developer here who wants to dump his waste from a resort into our Sugar Lake and surrounding waters. A lot of people depend on the waters around here for their drinking, etc. needs and to have that will contaminate the whole area. We had already stopped him from doing it but now he is finding another way because of (FRIENDS?) with influence and he might get his way after all. So far we have heard nothing about this matter. We would cheerfully like to kick him from here to Siberia.
