The Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2008 Conservation Achievement Awards. Winners were selected by the CWF Board and awarded at its Annual General Meeting in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Canadian Wildlife Federation says some elements of the federal budget at first take seem agreeable, while others raise concerns.  The Federation will continue to closely monitor and analyze yesterday’s federal budget as more information and details become available.

The Canadian Wildlife Federation is urging Canadians to care, conserve and commit during Rivers to Oceans Week and launching a new French language documentary on threats facing wildlife in the historic St. Lawrence seaway.
