By sharing their knowledge, they can help educate the public about conserving this habitat and the wildlife that depend on it for survival.

Rivers to Oceans Week reminds us that safeguarding the health of all water — local springs, creeks, streams, lakes, rivers, wetlands and even groundwater — flowing through our watersheds also improves the quality of Canada's oceans.

 

 

Nautical Seminar in Quebec City
March 4-6, 2011

 

CWF is a partner in the Nautical Seminar in Quebec City, an educational conference for kayakers, sailors and motor boat navigators.

 

 

CWF support for endangered whale species
December 17, 2010

 

 

Whale research expedition in the Gulf of Maine is now underway, with support from the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) and TD Bank. 


 

COP16 (United Nations Climate Change Conference)
November 29-December 10, 2010

 

CWF brings the message that Education Can Change the Climate to COP16 (United Nations Climate Change Conference) in Cancun, Mexico. CWF also produces educational videos on water ecology in key conservation areas of Mexico.

CWF Summer Institute in Tadoussac
August 8-15, 2010

 

CWF invited educators from across Canada to explore the biodiversity of the Saguenay-Saint Lawrence Marine Park. The CWF Summer Institute combined science and day sailing to advance conservation education.
