University Credit Information
This CWFLI Summer Institute adresses biodiversity in natural and community settings and will orient you to some of the latest technologies you can take away for application in your classroom and out-of-doors teaching.
Pre-Institute Preparation: We will be using an Internet-based computer program called Moodle to prepare you for your learning journey. On-line training will be provided and required for folks who may not be familiar with this technology. A training schedule will be scheduled for June, 2010, or earlier.
If you are also pursuing an academic credit through TELUQ-UQAM, you will be required to participate in academic inquiry activities that extend beyond the 8-day duration of the Summer Institute. Participants pursuing academic credit will be contacted by a CWF Learning Institute Fellow, or an associated professor, who will act as in academic supervision role for the duration of the academic credit course. Any and all academic activities extending beyond the 8-day Summer Institute will be facilitated through e-learning tools.
