A Fresh New Look, Letter from Wade Luzny

March 19, 2008

We recently held some focus group sessions across the country as part of an ongoing revision process here at CWF. We wanted to know what you think, and your enthusiastic response was truly illuminating.

One of our reactions, as you can see, is that we’ve made a few changes to the Bulletin. We’re trying for more positive content, more graphics and photos, and new ways to interact with you, because that’s what you want.

So we’ve developed a new caption contest, a tried-and-true department in our children’s magazine WILD — but one we feel will appeal to the child that’s still inside all of us, regardless of our age.

We’re also taking a fresh new approach to storytelling with the launch of PhotoScapes, CWF’s first-ever photo essay department in the Bulletin. In this inaugural issue, beautiful pictures will tell you about a hidden treasure in Saskatchewan that we’ve helped to protect for wildlife.

Your feedback is always received and read with great interest by many people at CWF. It’s the single most effective way for you to tell us that we are publishing a newsletter that reflects your interests. So let us know what you think of these changes, and keep those letters and e-mails coming.

Wade Luzny
