CWF’s Funding Program has once again awarded financial support to several critical research projects and educational programs. Among them, innovative research on the habitat and prey selection of an isolated cougar population by two researchers from the University of Alberta.
The purpose of the study is to document the ecology of the apparently isolated cougar population in Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park and the adjacent region. All funded projects work towards a common goal — a brighter future for Canadian wildlife. CWF is proud to support this valuable work. Get a complete list of all the spring 2008 funded programs.
