Community Certification in the Annapolis ValleyCWF's Certification Program recently conducted a pilot project with the Village of Lawrencetown. This small community in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia sought the status of community certification, initiated by resident Diana Ackroyd. Diana's love of nature and down to earth practicality prompted her to create a wildlife oasis in her own garden. Recognizing the significant benefits of gardening with nature, rather than against it, and that it can be done regardless of property size, budget and time, Diana was inspired to get her community involved.
