Rivers to Oceans videos »
Canada holds approximately one-fifth of the earth’s fresh water resources and has the longest coastline in the world. Unfortunately, due to multiple factors including pollution, acid rain, oil spills and climate change, our rivers, lakes and oceans and the fragile wildlife that depend on them are being threatened. But you can help turn the tide. We encourage you to play an active role in the conservation and protection of Canada’s waterways and the wildlife they sustain by joining CWF in celebrating Rivers to Ocean’s Week (ROW) from June 8 to 14, 2009.

Navigating Troubled Waters »
The Canadian Wildlife Federation and the award winning filmmakers of Gallant Productions Inc. have teamed up to create this half hour French language documentary and four webisodes on the environmental issues facing the St. Lawrence River. Navigating Troubled Waters follows the St. Lawrence River from its start at the Great Lakes to where fresh water mixes with salt water at the mouth of the Atlantic ocean. The program looks at the impacts agriculture and other industries have on water quality and wildlife habitat.
