In Canada, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by large expanses of natural spaces and abundant wildlife that calls it home. Help us raise awareness and funds for the winged species at risk we’re honouring by “Giving Wings to Wildlife Conservation” and hosting your own Walk for Wildlife!
Dozens of walks are being organized across to country to help get Canadians back outdoors. Check out the map to see if there’s a Walk for Wildlife near you!
By participating in the Walk for Wildlife, you are adding your voice to wildlife conservation in Canada. Your participation helps CWF raise awareness and funds for wildlife and wildlife habitat across the country.
We know you love and care for wildlife as much as we do. So when exploring the trails, let’s respect wildlife by giving them their space and not disturbing them.
Find links to some great activity ideas for when you walk: geocaching, logging wildlife sightings, snapping pics and more.
On Your Walk: Snap a Selfie! We’d love to see you on your walk. Whether you’re hiking in the Rockies or taking a stroll in the suburbs, snap a picture of yourself along the way so we can celebrate your Walk for Wildlife! Upload your picture to Instagram or Twitter and tag your picture with #selfie and #giveahoot so we can find your wonderful nature photos. Don’t forget to tag @CWF_FCF too!
